Here is a fun Friday smoothie recipe that I just love to make and share with others. It's a great smoothie to drink before or after a run. The fruit stand guy was selling pineapples for a great price the other day so I had to buy one. I cut it up and froze the pieces and I also froze some bananas. Here is my recipe:
1 large piece of frozen pineapple
2 frozen bananas
Non dairy milk to get it going
2 tbsp of nut butter (I used almond butter)
Blend everything in your high speed blender and there you have it!

I'm on instagram as foreverplantbased also. I decided I want to get back to my roots, where I was last year when I started my fb page and started getting into the kitchen and cooking. I started FVR to share easy vegan recipes with people and encourage them to start cooking. I always compare myself to others so it's easy to get wrapped up in what other people are doing and what I think I should be doing. Well, I'm going full steam ahead with my Italian cookbook due out in 2015 and I just want it to be all about the fabulous vegan recipes :)
So, I'll, of course, be posting recipes on my page but also health tips and inspirational quotes. My blog and fb page make me so happy because I love writing and cooking and connecting with people. Feedback is so awesome so feel free to leave a comment here or on my fb or instagram.
