I made my own version of the recipe this morning and I wanted to share it.
1 frozen banana
1.5 tbsp of cacao powder
2 scoops of vanilla protein powder
2 tbsp of almond butter
Pumpkin pie spice
1 cup of oat milk
A few ice cubes
2 tbsp of maple syrup
Blend everything well and sit back and enjoy this goodness. This makes a great happy hour drink, after dinner drink, breakfast smoothie and post workout meal. The great thing about smoothies is you can have them anytime, anywhere. Totally vegan, gluten free, clean eating, antioxidant filled drink of yumminess.
Feel free to add dates, I ran out of them. Also sub the almond butter with another nut butter. You can also add 1/2 avocado.
