I heart fruit smoothies!
When I got home I blended the blueberries first then poured them into a jar, I blended the strawberries next then poured on top of the blueberries and then I blended the bananas and put them on top of the strawberries. Since the bananas were super frozen, they ended up as a whipped topping. I cut up a few dates and put them on the bananas.
A few tips: I had to keep pushing the fruit down in the blender because they stick to the sides, especially the bananas. This takes a little bit of patience. This smoothie is best enjoyed immediately after making it so the bananas stay whipped. The sugars in the fruit make this smoothie sweet enough so that you don't need anything else. And it looks fabulous too!! :)
Smoothies are so much fun to make! They are a great way to eat raw and get your favorite fruits and veggies in as soon as you wake up. Feel free to add to all of my smoothie recipes. Enjoy!!
