Post run smoothie


I ran 8.5 miles this morning and after stopping at the growers market, I came home and whipped up this post run smoothie. So before I forget all the magnificent ingredients, here they are:

7 small beets (juiced)
9 dates (I love them!)
Vanilla protein powder
Kale
1/2 of an avocado
Chia seeds
4 frozen strawberries
5 ice cubes
Lots of water
I added the beet juice and pulp to the blender, I pitted the dates and added them, 2 scoops of Arbonne protein powder and add the rest of the ingredients. I blended on high for 2 minutes. The color was the deepest pink I've ever seen. It tastes delicious! Enjoy :)
