Kohlrabi


I bought some kohlrabi at my local growers market because it looked like cabbage. I asked the guy who grows it how he makes it and he started giving me ideas for recipes. First I cooked the kohlrabi in a small pan in coconut oil and then made some rice. I cut up the leaves and the stalks and mixed them with the brown rice. Then I cut up the rest of the kohlrabi into french fry shapes and baked them in the oven. I sprayed them with coconut oil and sprinkled some lemon pepper on top. Now they are kohlrabi fries :) You could also put kohlrabi in soups and in veggie burritos.
