Smoothie sailing....

This morning I added rolled oats to my smoothie and I was delightfully surprised.  It was very hearty and yummy!  I buy Trader Joe's rolled oats.  I also added half of an avocado, organic strawberries, chia seeds, vanilla Arbonne protein powder, ice and water, blended in my Ninja (!) and enjoyed.  The oats gave the smoothie thickness and I felt fuller and less hungry around lunchtime.  For my smoothies, I add either fresh or frozen organic berries, apples, avocado, chia seeds, flaxseed, kale, cucumber and of course Arbonne protein powder.  I will drink a smoothie for breakfast, especially if I get up early to run and can't eat anything.  Smoothies are a great way to get a ton of antioxidants as well as get your servings of fruits and veggies.  Below: berry smoothie
