Falafals!

Last night I made dinner for my friend and I while we hung out and watched movies. I bought tahini sauce at Trader Joe's and decided to center the meal around that. So I tried homemade falafals. I baked them and they turned out great, they were just a little bit spicy. Here is what you do:
1 can of chickpeas
1 small onion finely chopped
2-3 garlic cloves
Fresh parsley
Fresh cilantro
1 lemon
1 tsp olive oil
1 tsp cumin
1tsp red pepper
1/4 cup of brown rice flour
1 tsp baking soda
Lemon pepper
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Put the chickpeas in a bowl and mash with a fork. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well. Form into balls and put on a cookie sheet. Bake for about 15 minutes on each side.
Tip: I would delete or sprinkle lightly the cumin and red pepper because the falafals were spicy. If you love spice, add more. I would also bake them for about 10 min each side. This will make the falafals softer and not as brown. I served with tahini sauce for dipping. They were delicious!
